A film by Patricio Henriquez

September 1973. Chile is in chaos. The Presidential Palace is in flames. The nation's most beloved leader, President Salvador Allende, is found dead among the ruins. For a whole day, he and thirty of his comrades stood their ground against the Armed Forces while military rockets were fired on the Palace.

Relive the dramatic final hours of Chile's last great democrat and the turmoil immediately following his tragic death. Using archival footage and exclusive interviews, this riveting documentary charts Allende's fall on September 11th, 1973. Colleagues and friends of the popular hero tell the story of that fatal day in the Palace and their leader's untimely death. Follow the historical and political intrigue as the dictator-to-be, Pinochet, stages a coup and imposes his will.
